Inaugural Utility Awards celebrate Australian industry excellence

The inaugural Utility Awards were held at a gala dinner in Melbourne to recognize outstanding achievements within Australia’s utilities sector. Organized in partnership with Utility Magazine and Autodesk, the event honored professionals and organizations for their contributions to infrastructure, project delivery, operational performance, sustainability, and industry leadership.

Utility Magazine editor Hayley Ralph noted that the awards aim to highlight the work being done to address industry challenges such as aging infrastructure, growing demand, the energy transition, and water security.

Key award recipients included Daniel Vasek and James Cumming of Carbon Since 1909 for Customer Experience Person of the Year, TasNetworks for the Field Excellence Award, SA Water for the Safety Excellence Award, Sydney Water for Project Delivery Team of the Year, and Western for the Network Innovation Award.
