INBAL establishes common agenda for its 19 museums

The National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (INBAL), through Mexico's Secretariat of Culture, held a meeting on August 13 at the Museo Nacional de Arte to establish a unified agenda for its 19-museum network.

Led by INBAL Director General Alejandra de la Paz Nájera and National Coordinator of Visual Arts Gerardo Cedillo, the gathering focused on strategic projects and the exhibition program leading up to 2027. Key objectives include fostering transdisciplinary collaboration, enhancing cultural mediation between museums and diverse audiences, and promoting youth participation.

Additional strategic initiatives presented by the National Coordination of Visual Arts aim to provide professional training for new generations, encourage experimentation in cultural mediation, and strengthen connections with various communities and territories.
