Inbee Park named finalist for World Golf Hall of Fame

Golfer Inbee Park has been named as one of the 14 final candidates for the World Golf Hall of Fame class of 2027. She is among four female finalists, alongside Cristie Kerr, Dotty Pepper, and Liselotte Neumann.

Park’s candidacy is supported by her extensive achievements, including 21 LPGA Tour victories and four major championships. Notably, she achieved a ‘Golden Career Grand Slam’ by winning an Olympic gold medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games, adding to her career grand slam.

To be inducted, Park must receive at least 75 percent approval from the 24-member selection committee. The final results are expected to be announced in December, with the induction ceremony scheduled for July next year in St Andrews, Scotland.
