Inces teams up with regional educators and private universities to expand technical training in Venezuela

The Instituto Nacional de Capacitación y Educación Socialista (Inces) held a meeting with the Centro de Desarrollo de la Calidad Educativa (CDCE) in Cojedes to design a technical training pathway for students graduating in the 2025‑2026 school year. The plan aims to align secondary education curricula with the state's key economic sectors, giving future graduates practical skills directly linked to local labor market needs.

In parallel, Inces signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the private universities Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua (UBA), Universidad Nueva Esparta (UNE) and the Association of Rectors of Private Universities (ASOUPRI). The accord seeks to unify technical and university education, modernize curricula, recognize work experience for academic credit, and develop employment indicators. Priority sectors include administration, tourism and automotive mechanics, with the goal of improving youth employability and fostering continuous professional development.

Both initiatives are intended to create a seamless educational continuum from technical training to university degrees, strengthening the relevance of Venezuela’s workforce to its evolving economic demands.
