Incheon Agricultural Technology Center promotes rice consumption

The Incheon Agricultural Technology Center held an event on August 18 to commemorate ‘Rice Day’ by distributing 1,200 servings of rice rice cake soup (tteokguk) to citizens. The initiative aimed to promote the consumption of domestic rice and raise awareness regarding the value of agriculture.

Organized in collaboration with the Korea Living Improvement Association Incheon Federation, the event involved members visiting various district offices to deliver the food. The distribution was intended to highlight the nutritional value of rice and encourage the use of rice-based processed foods in daily diets as consumption trends shift.
