Incheon City supports SME export expansion in Shenzhen, China

Incheon Metropolitan City is supporting local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in expanding into the Chinese market by participating in the 30th World-OKTA (World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations) Convention. The event will be held in Shenzhen, China, from October 8 to 11.

In collaboration with Incheon Techno Park and the Food Industry Promotion Support Center, the city will operate an ‘Incheon Company Pavilion’ during the associated 2026 Korea Business Expo Shenzhen. A total of 25 local companies will participate, including 10 in the beauty sector, 10 in general goods, and 5 in the food industry. The initiative aims to leverage global interest in K-beauty and K-food to increase brand awareness and secure new export channels.

The convention is expected to draw approximately 6,000 visitors, including 400 participating companies and various global buyers. In addition to business support, Incheon plans to promote the ‘2025–2026 Year of Visiting Incheon for Overseas Koreans’ to strengthen human networks and foster sustainable economic cooperation.
