Incheon expands support for small businesses and manufacturers

The Songrim Small Manufacturer Specialized Support Center, operated by the Incheon Credit Guarantee Foundation, is strengthening cooperation with related organizations to discover joint support projects. During a recent meeting held in Incheon's Jemulpo-gu, representatives from various institutions, including the Incheon Small Manufacturer Association and the Small Enterprise and Market Service, discussed ways to integrate professional expertise and share information to enhance the competitiveness of local small manufacturers.

In a parallel effort to bolster business resilience, the Incheon Credit Guarantee Foundation has launched ‘Seongjangdaero Edu’ (Incheon Small Business Academy). This online customized education service allows small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs to access practical training via PC or mobile devices. The curriculum covers six key areas: startup and re-startup, store operations, tax/accounting/law, marketing/management improvement, AI/digital transformation, and common competencies. The program aims to transition support policies from simple livelihood assistance to fostering sustainable growth and digital competitiveness.
