Incheon International Airport holds resource circulation campaign

Incheon International Airport Corporation held a resource circulation campaign at Terminal 2 to commemorate Resource Circulation Day. The initiative focused on promoting the value of recycling and sustainable practices among airport passengers and employees.

As part of the event, the corporation distributed upcycled pouches made from collected PET bottles to travelers. The campaign also featured an eco-friendly experience booth operated in collaboration with e-Cycle Governance, a specialist in electronic waste recycling. This booth provided guidance on the correct disposal of electronic waste and introduced technologies for recovering essential minerals from future waste resources, such as discarded batteries and solar panels.

Prior to the public event, employees participated in a PET bottle collection drive starting in August, gathering approximately 1,400 bottles to be used for the campaign souvenirs. The corporation is also conducting an online quiz via its official Instagram account through September 20 to further promote its environmental policies and resource circulation efforts.
