Incheon Airport merger re-examination sparks debate over security and infrastructure

The South Korean government has announced a re-examination of the proposed merger between Incheon International Airport Corporation and Korea Airports Corporation. While the Incheon Metropolitan Government has interpreted this move as a de facto cancellation of the merger, experts and civic groups have criticized the city's stance as complacent.
