Incheon Kia sets record with 150 Syros EV deliveries in one day

Incheon Kia, a major dealership network in Kerala, achieved a record-breaking delivery milestone by handing over 150 units of the Kia Syros EV in a single day. This achievement has earned the dealership recognition from the India Book of Records for the “Maximum Single-Model Electric Car Sold by a Dealer in a Day.”

The event, which coincided with the Malayalam New Year (Chingam 1), was part of a larger delivery of 500 Kia vehicles across the state. The Syros EV is positioned as an accessible electric SUV within Kia’s Indian portfolio.

In addition to the sales milestone, Incheon Kia announced a ₹10-crore investment in clean energy. The dealership plans to expand its rooftop solar capacity from 250 kW to 2 MW by the end of 2026, a move intended to generate approximately 24 lakh units of clean electricity annually and reduce CO2 emissions by nearly 1,900 tonnes each year.
