Incheon launches text alert service for public sector job openings

Incheon Metropolitan City has launched ‘Gonggong Chaeyong ON’, a new text message notification service designed to assist job seekers by providing timely updates on public sector recruitment.

The service delivers daily text alerts regarding civil service examinations and new job openings from government-affiliated corporations, public agencies, and local government-funded institutions. This initiative aims to eliminate the inconvenience of job seekers having to manually visit individual agency websites to check for updates.

Users can subscribe to the service through the Incheon Job Platform by navigating to ‘My Page’ and selecting ‘Notification Management’. Additionally, the platform offers a ‘Customized Information Notification Service’, which sends tailored updates regarding employment, policy support, and training twice a week based on user-defined interests.

The Incheon Job Platform, which has been integrating data from approximately 30 systems—including Job Alio, Nara Ilteo, and Clean Eye Job Plus—reported an average of 20,000 daily visitors as of late September.
