Incheon Marathon 2026 to host 20,000 participants

The 2026 Incheon Marathon is scheduled to take place on November 22. Registration for the event will open on September 7 at 2:00 PM via the official website on a first-come, first-served basis.

As the only internationally certified full-course marathon in Incheon, the event is co-hosted by Incheon Metropolitan City and the Korea Association of Athletics Federations. The total number of participants has been expanded to 20,000 people. The breakdown of participants includes 8,000 for the full course (42.195km), 10,000 for the 10km race, and 2,000 for the 5km race. The full course will start near Unseo Station in Yeongjong-gu, cross the Cheongna Sky Bridge, and finish at the Asiad Main Stadium in Seo-gu.

Incheon City aims to use the event to showcase local landmarks and the West Sea landscape to domestic and international visitors, while simultaneously boosting the local economy through increased spending on accommodation and dining.
