Geomdan-gu completes prenatal education program for pregnant women

The Ara Health Support Center in Geomdan-gu, Incheon, has successfully completed its ‘Connecting Hearts Prenatal Education Class’ for local pregnant women. The program, which ran from August 25 to September 8, focused on emotional stability and fostering attachment between parents and fetuses.

A key activity in the recent session involved participants hand-sewing organic attachment dolls to use as gifts for their babies after birth. This initiative is specifically designed to meet the needs of the Ara-dong area, where 32.7% of the district's women of childbearing age reside due to the influx of young families following the development of Geomdan New Town.

Following the success of the first three sessions, the center plans to launch the fourth program in November to continue providing customized health and emotional support for expectant mothers.
