Incheon Metropolitan City expands support for high-tech and job-creating companies

Incheon Metropolitan City is implementing several initiatives to bolster the local economy and support high-tech industries. Through the ‘Incheon Growth Fund 4th’, the city and Incheon Techno Park have signed a memorandum of understanding to identify and strategically support advanced companies. The first recipient of this funding is Speedfloor, a company based in Yeonsu-gu that specializes in automated cargo loading and unloading technology and is expanding into AI-based smart logistics solutions. The city will invest 1 billion KRW directly into Speedfloor and recommend them for the R&D Scale-up TIPS program.

Additionally, Incheon has selected 34 local companies for recognition as excellent job creators and high-quality manufacturing (root industry) enterprises. These 20 job-creating companies and 14 root industry companies will receive various incentives for two years, including preferential treatment for management stability funds, R&D support, and export assistance. Mayor Park Chan-dae emphasized the city's commitment to expanding administrative and financial support to help local businesses grow and create more employment opportunities.
