Incheon Metropolitan City launches citizen survey for AI and digital policy

Incheon Metropolitan City has launched an online survey to gather citizen input for the development of its ‘7th Intelligent Informatization Basic Plan’. The survey, running from October 8 to October 14, aims to establish a mid-to-long-term blueprint for integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced digital technologies into various administrative sectors, including welfare, transportation, and disaster safety.

The new plan will reflect the evolving policy environment, such as the implementation of laws regarding AI development and trust. A key focus will be creating a specialized plan for AI to foster digital administrative innovation. The survey targets 23 specific public service tasks selected from a total of 50 proposed informatization projects. Citizens can evaluate the preference of these tasks using a five-point scale via the city’s official website or QR codes. The results will be used to prioritize digital services and enhance AI-based administrative efficiency to meet actual citizen needs.
