Incheon Port Authority launches employment support for youth

Incheon Port Authority has entered into a business agreement for the ‘Mirae Didimdol’ project to support the employment capabilities and economic independence of youth preparing for independence in the Incheon region.

Now in its second year, the program is a collaborative effort involving four regional public institutions: Incheon Port Authority, Sudokwon Landfill Site Management Corporation, Incheon International Airport Corporation, and Korea Environment Corporation. They are working alongside the Incheon branch of the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation and the Incheon Metropolitan City Independence Support Agency.

The initiative provides customized support based on individual career goals and readiness. This includes one-on-one expert counseling, assistance with obtaining licenses and certifications, vocational training, and exam fee support. A new ‘Public Career Exploration’ program has been added this year to allow participants to communicate directly with current employees and learn about various roles within the public sector.

Recruitment for the program is scheduled to take place from the 19th to the 30th for youth in the Incheon area.
