Incheon public procurement fair generates 1.3 billion won in consultations

The Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Incheon City, held the ‘2026 Incheon Regional Public Procurement Consultation Fair’ at Songdo Convensia. The event aimed to support local businesses in entering the public procurement market and expanding their sales channels.

Fifty local companies participated in 124 one-on-one consultation sessions with 13 public institutions, including the Incheon Urban Development Corporation, Incheon Transit Corporation, and Incheon Facilities Corporation. These sessions resulted in approximately 1.3 billion won in consultation performance. To increase effectiveness, the event utilized a demand-oriented matching system where institutions pre-selected companies based on their specific product and service needs.

In addition to the consultations, the Incheon Regional Public Procurement Service provided policy advisory services. A practical training session was also held to improve procurement capabilities, covering government bidding systems, entry procedures for procurement malls, and multiple supplier contract systems.
