Incheon to host 2026 Jajangmyeon Festival in Chinatown

The 2026 Incheon Jajangmyeon Festival will be held from October 3 to 4 in the Hangmidan-gil, Sangsang Platform, and Chinatown areas of Incheon. Organized by the Incheon Tourism Organization, the event features a mix of culinary experiences and cultural performances.

Key highlights include the ‘Incheon Jajang Road’ program, where prominent Chinese restaurants will serve 2,000 bowls of jajangmyeon daily at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. On October 3, Chef Park Eun-young from the program ‘Culinary Class Wars’ will host a live cooking show. Musical performances by artists such as Jang Min-ho and Huh Gak are scheduled, alongside a ‘Candlelight’ classical concert featuring 3,500 LED candles.

Educational and interactive elements include a seminar on the globalization of K-food featuring Professor Yang Jong-jip from the Culinary Institute of America, and various family activities like handmade noodle competitions and stamp tours. To facilitate the event, vehicle traffic in the Hangmidan-gil area will be restricted from October 1 to 5.
