Incheon to host inaugural integrated World Korean Convention

The inaugural ‘World Korean Convention’ will be held in Songdo, Incheon, from September 27 to October 1, 2026. This event marks the first time that the World Korean Leaders Convention, the 24th World Korean Business Convention, and the World Korean Next Generation Convention will be held in an integrated format to create a unified global network for overseas Koreans.

The program includes an integrated opening ceremony, forums, and business consultations. The World Korean Business Convention specifically features an exhibition with approximately 460 booths showcasing K-food, K-beauty, and innovative consumer goods. Around 300 domestic and international buyers are expected to participate to facilitate one-on-one business meetings and support the overseas expansion of Korean small and medium-sized enterprises.

Government officials, including the Commissioner of the Overseas Koreans Agency and the Mayor of Incheon, will participate in the events. The initiative aims to bridge different generations and professional sectors, transforming the existing fragmented networks into a cohesive platform for economic and social exchange.
