Incheon to host Jemulpo-gu job fair for root industries

Incheon Techno Park and Incheon City will host the ‘Jemulpo-gu Job Fair with Root Companies’ on the 14th at the Sangsang Platform. This event, marking the fourth such fair, aims to reduce the mismatch between job seekers and employers in the local root industry, addressing labor shortages for companies and providing employment opportunities for residents.

A total of 20 companies will participate, including 13 root industry firms such as Coalink, Masteco, Benda Seonkwang Industry, and Hands Corporation, alongside seven general companies. The fair will feature one-on-one on-site interviews, employment counseling, and customized job matching from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The initiative is part of the ‘2026 Incheon Regional Innovation Project,’ coordinated by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, Incheon City, and Jemulpo-gu. Seven related organizations, including the Incheon City Job Center and the Central Regional Employment and Labor Office, will provide counseling and information on support systems for both young and middle-aged job seekers. Additional services include VR experiences of root industries, AI caricatures, and free resume photo sessions.
