Incheon Tourism Organization and Hanwha Asset Management receive ESG awards

The Incheon Tourism Organization and Hanwha Asset Management have been recognized at the 2026 National Contribution Awards for their commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management and social responsibility.

The Incheon Tourism Organization received the Minister of Climate, Energy and Environment Award. The organization was cited for its eco-friendly tourism initiatives, such as the ‘Living Boldly’ program for island residents and the ‘Eco Package’ at Harbor Park Hotel. Additionally, Songdo Convensia became the first convention center in Korea to receive environmental product certification from the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment.

Hanwha Asset Management was awarded the Minister of Health and Welfare Award. The company was recognized for establishing a responsible investment system, publishing annual stewardship reports, and supporting youth through the ‘Bright World Fund,’ which provides financial education and independence support for children in care and youth preparing for independence. The firm also focuses on expanding professional employment in ESG and new growth sectors.
