Incheon Youth Policy Contest awards Grand Prize for fair contract system

Incheon Metropolitan City recently held the final presentation for the ‘2026 Incheon Youth Policy Contest,’ an initiative designed to allow young residents to propose solutions for local issues. The contest, organized by the Inha University Regional Cooperation Center, drew 74 participating teams.

After a series of evaluations, including workshops and expert consulting, six teams reached the final stage. The proposals addressed diverse topics such as youth housing safety, support for isolated or withdrawn youth, urban planning participation, and startup market verification.

The Grand Prize, the Incheon Mayor's Award, was presented to the ‘Bareun Contract Lab’ team for their proposal titled ‘Incheon Youth Fair Contract System.’ This project aims to protect young freelancers by providing tools for self-diagnosing risky contract clauses, offering industry-specific standard contracts, and linking users with labor attorney consultations.

Other awards were distributed for proposals regarding B2C market verification for startups, housing legalization in university areas, and AI-driven urban planning tools. The city plans to utilize these winning ideas to inform future youth policy development and implementation.
