InChina Forum marks 10th anniversary with focus on KR-CN cooperation

The 10th anniversary of the InChina Forum was held at Songdo Convensia on September 8, 2026, focusing on new cooperation strategies between South Korea and China amidst global transitions in artificial intelligence (AX), green energy (GX), and culture/content (CX).

Incheon Mayor Park Chan-dae emphasized the city's role in leading future cooperation through the ‘ABC+E’ strategy, which targets AI, bio, content, and energy. The forum saw record participation from Chinese delegations, including representatives from Tianjin, Chongqing, Qingdao, Shandong, and Harbin.

Chinese Ambassador to South Korea, Dai Bing, noted Incheon's leadership in bilateral relations and suggested expanding cooperation into advanced manufacturing, medical biotechnology, low-carbon industries, and the silver economy. The event included expert dialogues, youth policy discussions, and a business matching session where 60 Incheon-based companies met with 25 Chinese firms to explore trade and investment opportunities.
