Inchmarlo Scotland appoints Tyron Ellul as Head Chef

Inchmarlo House Care Home and Retirement Village in Aberdeenshire has appointed award-winning chef Tyron Ellul as its new Head Chef. The appointment coincides with the community’s 40th anniversary.

Mr. Ellul, who was born in Malta, brings over 20 years of experience in prestigious Scottish kitchens. His background includes roles at the Turnberry Hotel and Relais & Châteaux properties such as Glenapp Castle and the Isle of Eriska. Notably, he was instrumental in securing three AA Rosettes at Glenapp Castle and previously earned two AA Rosettes during an eight-year tenure at the Tolbooth Restaurant in Stonehaven.

Founded in 1986 by Professor Charles Skene CBE, Inchmarlo was the first continuing care and retirement community of its kind in Scotland and the United Kingdom in a century. The estate is centered around a Georgian mansion and currently includes approximately 180 to 200 homes across nine neighborhoods.
