İnci Türkay to tour award-winning play Liste in November

Turkish actress İnci Türkay is returning to the stage this season with her solo performance, “Liste” (The List). The production, based on a text by Canadian playwright Jennifer Tremblay, explores the psychological aftermath of a tragic oversight experienced by a mother who attempts to manage her life through daily checklists.

The play, which has previously received standing ovations in London and sold-out shows in Ankara and Istanbul, will embark on a multi-city tour in November. The tour begins on November 4 at the Bostanlı Suat Taşer Open Air Theatre in İzmir. Following this, performances are scheduled for November 20 in Balıkesir at the Avlu Culture Center, November 23 in Kocaeli at the International Congress Center, and November 24 in Istanbul at Baba Sahne.

The award-winning script has earned international recognition, including the Governor General’s Literary Award for drama in the French language category, the Prix Michel-Tremblay, and the Laurentian Bank Playwright’s Award. The production features a 55-minute runtime and focuses on a character's profound moral reckoning through minimalist stage design and light and shadow play.
