Incidents in India: Ludo dispute leads to stabbing and fatal bus accident

Two separate incidents have been reported in India. In Gujarat, a dispute over a ₹500 Ludo game played on a mobile phone escalated into a violent attack in Jethpur. A man named Munabhai reportedly won the bet, but when his friend, Veerpal, demanded the money, Munabhai refused. The confrontation turned physical when Veerpal allegedly snatched Munabhai’s bike keys and attacked him with a sharp weapon. The victim was referred to Junagadh Civil Hospital with serious but stable injuries, and the police have arrested Veerpal and recovered the weapon.

In Rajasthan, a fatal road accident occurred near the Patla Peer Dargah in the Sarola police station area of Jhalawar. A private bus traveling from the Kaithun area of Kota experienced brake failure, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle struck approximately 10 pilgrims standing by the roadside. Two pilgrims were killed, and more than half a dozen others were injured. The deceased and injured were reportedly from the Ramganjmandi and Kaithun regions of Kota. Serious casualties are currently receiving treatment in the ICU at Jhalawar District Hospital.
