Inclusion projects inaugurated in Rimini and L'Aquila, Italy
In Rimini, a Carabinieri delegation attended the launch of “Lavor‑Io Lab”, a new social‑inclusion programme run by the Associazione Crescere Insieme in partnership with a local company. The project targets people with intellectual disabilities, aiming to boost autonomy, self‑esteem and employment prospects through three activity streams: a greenhouse with beekeeping, a library‑playroom and creative‑craft workshops.
In L’Aquila, the “L’Aquila Social Hub – Officina per l’Inclusione” was unveiled at the INS IEME Regional Social Festival. The hub, promoted by Autismo Abruzzo APS and backed by Enel Cuore, Rotary L’Aquila and the public‑sector operator ADSU L’Aquila, seeks to improve autonomy, participation and labour integration for individuals on the autism spectrum through workshops, housing‑skill training, family support and job‑placement pathways.
