Inclusive Augsfeld Brass Band Receives “Hier klingt’s mir gut” Award

The inclusive brass band of the Lebenshilfe Schweinfurt workshop in Augsfeld was awarded the “Hier klingt’s mir gut” distinction on 17 July 2026 after its weekly rehearsal. The award, run by the General Cäcilien Association and supported by the Federal Music Association, the federal commissioner for culture and media, and Aktion Mensch, recognises ensembles that promote participation and openness. The ceremony was presented by Ralf Schuband, Kreis‑Chorleiter of Fürth and project curator, and featured guest player Gerhard Cäsar. Band leaders Konrad Schneider and workshop manager Harald Waldhäuser thanked attendees, including Lebenshilfe deputy chairman Werner Kraus and Julia Pfister, for the recognition.
