Incumbents Lead in California City Council Primaries in Stockton and Los Angeles

In Stockton's municipal primary, incumbents are ahead in all three City Council districts. District 1 Councilmember Michele Padilla leads with 51.01% of the vote, narrowly surpassing the 50% threshold needed to avoid a runoff. In District 3, Councilmember Michael Blower holds 45.65% while challenger Jessica Toccoli trails at 38.67%, both below the runoff line.
