INDAP launches new productive support model for rural women in Los Lagos

INDAP has launched a new productive support model for rural women in the Los Lagos region of Chile. The initiative, introduced in Castro, aims to benefit approximately one hundred female farmers across various communes.

In the initial stage, 73 women will receive permanent technical assistance, farm diagnostics, practical training, and support for investment projects. The program focuses on vegetables, small fruits, rural tourism, and processed products. Investments will target infrastructure such as greenhouses, irrigation systems, and equipment to help producers increase income and development opportunities.
