Inde Navarrette expresses openness to ‘Obsession’ sequel

Actress Inde Navarrette has indicated she is “totally open” to reprising her role as Nikki in a potential sequel to the horror film ‘Obsession’. In a recent interview on The Hollywood Reporter’s ‘Awards Chatter’ podcast, recorded at Chapman University, Navarrette reversed her previous stance where she had suggested the film might work better as an anthology series.

Directed by Curry Barker, ‘Obsession’ has become a significant commercial success, reportedly earning over $520 million at the global box office on a budget of $1 million or less. The film’s popularity has also led to a major awards push by Focus Features, with Navarrette being a projected Best Actress nominee.

Navarrette’s upcoming projects include a role in the action film ‘Invertigo’ and her Marvel debut as Rogue in the upcoming Disney ‘X-Men’ reboot.
