Inde Navarrette chooses Marvel’s X-Men over major film roles

Following her breakout performance in the horror film ‘Obsession’, actress Inde Navarrette has reportedly prioritized a role in Marvel Studios’ upcoming X-Men reboot over several high-profile film offers.

Navarrette has been cast as the mutant Rogue in the X-Men film, which was announced at D23. To commit to this role, she reportedly passed on a part in Michael Mann’s ‘Heat 2’, which features actors such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale. There are conflicting reports regarding her involvement in ‘Heat 2’; while some sources claim she is no longer in contention for the role of Sharlene, others suggest she may still be considered for a smaller character named Gabriella.

Additionally, Navarrette reportedly turned down a $2.5 million offer for a horror project directed by Matthias Hoehne. Her rapid rise in Hollywood follows the global success of ‘Obsession’, which earned nearly $500 million despite a modest initial budget.
