Inde Navarrette to play Rogue in upcoming X-Men film

Actress Inde Navarrette is preparing to portray the character Rogue in the upcoming X-Men film directed by Jake Schreier. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Navarrette expressed her commitment to the role, stating she is doing “everything humanly possible” to do justice to the character for the creative team and for fans.

Navarrette, known for her role in the horror film Obsession, intends to utilize her upbringing in Texas to help develop Rogue’s characteristic Southern accent. The film is part of a new era for mutants within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and features a cast including Sadie Sink, Kit Connor, Maya Boyd, Christopher Abbott, Samara Weaving, and Adam Driver. The project is expected to arrive in theaters in May 2028.
