Independence Day celebrations held in Tamil Nadu and Gujarat

Independence Day celebrations were held across various regions in India. In Chennai, at Fort St. George, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay Thalapathy hoisted the national flag. Actress Trisha Krishnan was also present at the ceremony, where she was seen sitting with Vijay Thalapathy’s parents, Chandrasekhar and Shobha.

In the Bharuch district of Gujarat, Independence Day festivities took place in Zhagadia. State Health Minister Praful Panseriya performed the flag hoisting and inspected a parade conducted by police and other units. During the event, Panseriya honored freedom fighters and individuals who achieved excellence in various fields. He addressed the gathering, noting India’s progress in digital technology and semiconductor chip production.
