Independente de Limeira and América to contest Bezinha final on Aug 9 and 16

The Federação Paulista de Futebol announced that the Campeonato Paulista Sub‑23 Segunda Divisão (known as the “Bezinha”) will be decided over two legs between América de São José do Rio Preto and Independente de Limeira. The first leg takes place on Sunday, 9 August, at 10:00 local time in the Estádio Benedito Teixeira (Teixeirão) in São José do Rio Preto. The return match is scheduled for Sunday, 16 August, also at 10:00, at Independente’s home ground in Limeira.

Both clubs have already secured promotion to the Série A4 of the 2027 Campeonato Paulista. América entered the final after a strong semifinal showing, while Independente reached the decider by eliminating Flamengo de Guarulhos on penalties. The champion will be crowned after the second leg, with a penalty shoot‑out to decide the title if the aggregate score remains level.
