Independente wins Campeonato Paulista Segunda Divisão title

Independente has won the Campeonato Paulista Segunda Divisão (Bezinha) title after defeating América-SP 4-1 in the second leg of the final. The victory at the Pradão stadium in Limeira allowed the team to overturn a 2-0 deficit from the first leg in São José do Rio Preto, securing a 4-3 aggregate win.

América-SP initially took the lead in the final match through a goal by Édipo, which would have extended their aggregate advantage to 3-0. However, Independente mounted a comeback, starting with a penalty converted by Hiago Ramiro in the 44th minute of the second half. Isaac Nilton scored the decisive championship-winning goal in the 46th minute.
