Independiente preseason Internacional training friendly matches South American football pre‑season schedule

Argentine club Independiente announced four winter‑season friendly matches as part of its pre‑season preparation. After a 1‑1 draw with Talleres, the team will face Newell's on 11 July, Lanús on 15 July and Gimnasia (LP) on 18 July, all at the LDA‑REB facilities, before opening the Clausura against Estudiantes on 26 July.

Brazilian side Internacional also detailed its inter‑season schedule. Following a 2‑0 win over Coritiba, Inter will play Uruguayan side Cerro Largo behind closed doors on 8 July at Beira‑Rio, with further friendlies against São Paulo on 11 July and Caxias on 17 July. The club returns to official competition on 22 July versus Cruzeiro in the Brasileirão and faces Corinthians in the Copa do Brasil on 2 August.
