Independiente and Racing Club unveil new historical football kits

New football kit releases for Argentine clubs Independiente and Racing Club have been reviewed, highlighting a trend toward historical tributes and premium materials.

Independiente’s 2026/27 PUMA away jersey features a perforated, lace-like fabric inspired by flames. The design incorporates blue collars and cuffs with white and red accents, reminiscent of the 1989/90 season. The kit utilizes embroidered textile emblems rather than TPU, and includes a retro IFC crest and a commemorative emblem on the nape of the neck.

Racing Club’s 2026 Nike third kit pays homage to the club’s origins in 1904, utilizing black and yellow stripes. While the design uses a standard template shared with other kits in the collection, it features a retro crest and high-performance Dri-Fit ADV technology in the Match version.
