Independiente Santa Fe seeks contract renewal for Pablo Repetto

Independiente Santa Fe is working toward a contract renewal for Uruguayan manager Pablo Repetto. While his current contract is set to expire on December 31, 2026, the club aims to extend his stay through 2027.

Club president Luis Eduardo Méndez expressed optimism regarding the negotiations, noting that the board is highly satisfied with Repetto's performance. The manager has reportedly expressed comfort with his professional and family life in Bogotá, which aids the process. However, negotiations may face complications as international clubs have shown interest in the 52-year-old coach.

Repetto has led the team to significant results, including a SuperLiga BetPlay title and progress in the Copa Sudamericana. Current discussions are reportedly in an advanced stage, with remaining details focused on minor salary adjustments. Repetto has requested that the official signing take place after the conclusion of the current Liga BetPlay 2026-II season to maintain team focus.
