INDESUR deploys equipment to rehabilitate rural roads in Cabral

The Institute for the Development of the Southwest (INDESUR) has deployed heavy equipment to the municipality of Cabral to rehabilitate rural and inter-parcel roads. This initiative follows a request from Mayor Rolbik Urbáez Féliz to address the needs of local agricultural communities.

Work is being carried out in the communities of La Cueva, La Péndula, La Posa, El Aguacate, Los Hierros, and Fondo del Higo. The project aims to improve access for hundreds of agricultural producers, facilitating the transport of workers, tools, supplies, and harvests to commercial centers.

INDESUR, led by Executive Director Noel Suberví Nin, operates across the provinces of Azua, Barahona, Bahoruco, Independencia, Pedernales, San Juan, and Elías Piña, focusing on economic and social development in the Dominican Southwest.
