India and Kenya discuss strengthening bilateral partnership

India and Kenya are working to strengthen their bilateral partnership through increased cooperation in several key sectors. Indian High Commissioner to Kenya Adarsh Swaika recently met with Kenyan Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia W Mudavadi in Nairobi to discuss recent developments and proposals for enhanced collaboration.

The discussions focused on a wide range of areas, including technology, artificial intelligence, education, healthcare, infrastructure, maritime connectivity, the Blue Economy, and digital development.

This diplomatic engagement follows a recent visit to India by Kenya's Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetang'ula. During his trip, Wetang'ula met with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to bolster parliamentary exchanges and engage with newly formed Parliamentary Friendship Groups, emphasizing the legislative collaboration between the two nations.
