India and Kenya review bilateral ties and upcoming high-level exchanges

Indian High Commissioner to Kenya Adarsh Swaika met with Kenya’s Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Korir Sing’Oei, to evaluate bilateral relations and prepare for upcoming high-level diplomatic exchanges. The discussions focused on the progress of ongoing initiatives and the expansion of trade and investment ties, with an emphasis on maintaining an investor-friendly environment.

This follows previous diplomatic engagements, including a meeting between High Commissioner Swaika and Kenyan Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia W Mudavadi to discuss strengthening the partnership. Additionally, efforts to bolster inter-parliamentary ties were highlighted by the August visit of Kenyan National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula to India, where he met with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to discuss the role of newly formed Parliamentary Friendship Groups.
