India and Saudi Arabia discuss labour and climate cooperation
India's Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, is conducting an official bilateral visit to Saudi Arabia to strengthen strategic ties. During his visit in Riyadh, Singh held high-level meetings with several Saudi officials to discuss cooperation in key sectors.
Singh met with Ahmad bin Sulaiman Alrajhi, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, to discuss enhancing collaboration in the labour and manpower sectors. Additionally, Singh met with Adel al-Jubeir, the Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy, to review bilateral relations and discuss joint efforts regarding climate action.
The visit, which began on Saturday and is scheduled to continue through September 8, also includes planned engagements with the Vice Minister for Environment, Water and Agriculture, as well as interactions with the Indian diaspora and business leaders in the Kingdom.
