India and Syria discuss disaster management cooperation

Renu Yadav, the Charge d’Affaires at the Indian Embassy in Syria, met with Syrian Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Raed Al-Saleh in Damascus to discuss bilateral cooperation. The discussions focused on disaster management and capacity building between the two nations.

This meeting follows previous diplomatic engagements, including a meeting between Yadav and Qutaiba Badawi, President of the General Authority for Borders and Customs, last month. These efforts reflect ongoing attempts to deepen diplomatic and developmental cooperation between India and Syria, building on their historic and civilisational links.
