India and UK discuss deepening bilateral partnership

Periasamy Kumaran, the High Commissioner of India to the UK, has held a series of meetings in London aimed at deepening the bilateral partnership between India and the United Kingdom.

During recent discussions, Kumaran met with Lord Krish Raval of the House of Lords to focus on trade, investment, education, technology, and youth engagement. The High Commissioner also met with Baroness Winterton of Doncaster, the UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Indo-Pacific, to discuss strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Further diplomatic efforts included a meeting with Lord Forsyth of Drumlean, Speaker of the House of Lords, to enhance parliamentary ties and shared democratic values. Additionally, Kumaran met with Leslie Maasdorp, CEO of British International Investment (BII), to discuss strengthening economic engagement between the two nations.
