India and West Indies arrive in Ranchi for second T20I

The Indian national cricket team has arrived in Ranchi for the second T20 match against the West Indies. India currently holds a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. Both teams arrived at Birsa Munda Airport on Wednesday to prepare for the game scheduled at the JSCA International Stadium.

Local fans in Ranchi are particularly focused on Ishan Kishan, who recently performed well in the Asian Games and scored an unbeaten 37 runs in the first T20 against the West Indies. There is also speculation regarding the playing eleven, specifically whether Vaibhav Suryavanshi will receive his first T20 international opportunity on home soil. Suryavanshi has previously played international matches in England, Zimbabwe, and Japan, but has yet to feature in a T20 match in India. Additionally, the form of opening batsman Sanju Samson is under scrutiny following a series of low scores.
