India announces 17-member squad for Blind Cricket Asia Cup

The Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) has announced a 17-member squad to compete in the second Men’s Blind Cricket Asia Cup. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from November 15 to 20.

The selected players will participate in a month-long preparatory camp in the Delhi NCR region, focusing on technical skills, fitness, and match strategy, following a 10-day selection camp that evaluated 24 prospects. The squad includes players across the B1, B2, and B3 categories.

India enters the competition as defending champions, having previously won the inaugural Blind T20 Asia Cup in 2016. CABI Chairman Dr. Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar expressed confidence in the team's ability to build on India’s legacy during the upcoming continental competition.
