India Announces Large-Scale Government Job Recruitment Across Multiple States

State governments in India are preparing extensive hiring drives for the coming years. Uttar Pradesh expects to fill roughly 150,000 posts in 2026, covering police, education and revenue departments, including about 500 positions for the UPPSC PCS exam and around 20,000 revenue accountant posts. Rajasthan also plans a major recruitment wave, with Common Eligibility Test (CET) based hiring for over 10,000 lower‑division clerk and junior assistant posts, alongside other departmental vacancies. Karnataka has opened recruitment for over 2,300 police constable positions and additional teaching posts.

In addition, Rajasthan’s Dausa district will host a series of direct‑recruitment camps for security personnel such as security guards, supervisors and officers. The 12‑day selection campaign runs from July 31 to August 18, with camps at locations including Nangal Rajavatana, Lavas, Ramgarh, and Dausa. No written exam is required; candidates must meet basic educational, age and physical criteria and will receive a month of training before placement in various public and private institutions.
