India Announces Medical Recruitment for Junior Residents and Homeopathy Consultant

Diamond Harbour Government Medical College & Hospital in West Bengal has opened 56 junior resident positions across specialties such as anesthesiology, emergency medicine, pediatrics and general surgery. Candidates must hold an MBBS degree, have completed a compulsory rotating internship (2020‑2026 batch) and be registered with the West Bengal Medical Council. Applications are accepted offline from 11 May to 15 May 2026.

The Grid Controller of India (GRID India) issued a separate call for a single part‑time medical consultant specializing in homeopathy. Applicants need a DHMS/BHMS degree, at least 15 years of post‑graduation experience (including 10 years as a consultant with other central government CPSEs), and must submit offline applications by 27 May 2026. The position offers a consultation fee of ₹2,000 per sitting plus conveyance allowance.
