India announces U19 Asia Cup squad with Sehwag and Dravid sons

The BCCI Junior Cricket Committee has announced a 15-member Indian squad for the upcoming ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup, scheduled to take place in Muscat, Oman, from November 4 to 14. Lakshya Raichandani has been named captain, with Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan serving as vice-captain.

The squad features Aaryavir Sehwag, son of former Indian opener Virender Sehwag, and wicketkeeper Anvay Dravid, son of former Indian captain and head coach Rahul Dravid. Anvay Dravid enters the tournament following a strong performance in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, where he scored 358 runs for Karnataka. Aaryavir Sehwag also joins after a notable 173-run innings for Delhi.

India is placed in Group A alongside Pakistan, Nepal, and the UAE. The team is scheduled to open its campaign against Nepal on November 6, followed by matches against Pakistan on November 8 and the UAE on November 10. India is the most successful team in the history of the U19 Men's Asia Cup, having won the title eight times.
